Grab some candles, garland and an interesting container and you can create a gorgeous table centerpiece in under 30 minutes.
I love having a beautiful centerpiece on my table for every season. I love how it adds to the atmosphere of my home and helps celebrate the different times of the year. I found this wooden container at Hobby Lobby last Summer and fell in love with it. I knew it would be perfect somewhere in my home but it sat empty until I created a centerpiece with it for the Fall. Transitioning to a Christmas centerpiece was a breeze because I used the same design steps as I did in the Fall centerpiece. The tutorial can be found right here. I reused the foam blocks to lift the center then I built it out and down a bit with the Christmas garland pieces to provide volume and to hide the foam blocks on the inside. The added volume that created really makes this centerpiece a statement piece that ties together all of the decor in our great room.
I'm curious to see where I'll end up using this container in the new year. Wherever it is, I'll be sure to let you know!
Head to the next post to see how I decorate my Christmas table for family dinner!
