Make a Pillow Cover from a Table Runner
This is another SIMPLE way to create a pillow cover that can be easily changed out for any season!
In my last post I shared how I made pilllow covers from a scarf. Today I am sharing how I made another pillow cover from a Table Runner. Yes, first a scarf, now a table runner! I found this wonderful plaid runner at Tj MAXX for $10 and I knew exactly what to do with it...bring it home, chop it up, and cover some pillows with it!
This is so easy it is laughable!
I cut the runner in half, opened up the end, folded in the raw ends toward the inside, stitched them down, added some buttons, stuffed my pillow form down to the end, and folded the end over to create a flap. I finished it off with a few pieces of sticky back Velcro to hold down the flap and VOILA, it was done!! I fashioned it with my two scarf pillows for my completed Christmas pillow look and I couldn't be happier about it. I LOVE inexpensive, fast, and cute HOME DECOR projects!
create a beautiful life!
